Pests affects ecosystems services and costs, directly or indirectly including pesticide application, impacting the global plant health. EMPHASIS, an Horizon 2020 project, aims to provide integrated response measures to tackle these challenges. The project organizes this workshop, in the context of a multi-actor approach, to learn more from experts and stakeholders about how to predict, prevent and protect EU agricultural and forestry sector, by discussing real-life pest scenarios and how to deal with them from different perspectives.
