The Committee on Environment, Public health and Food Safety will hold a hearing on the European Citizens’ Initiative “Ban glyphosate and protect people and the environment from toxic pesticides”, on 20.11.17.

The session will be delivered by Italy's University of Torino (UNITO) - one of EMPHASIS partners. The talk will give an overview on symptoms and impact of diseases caused by the fungal pathogens included in the Heterobasidion annosum species complex.

At the EPPO Workshop on insecticide resistance of Meligethes spp. (pollen beetle) on oilseed rape (Berlin, 2007), it was recommended that follow-up should be planned to include other oilseed rape pests.
